What is Drop Cart?

Drop Cart is a free service that allows you to create your own online stores and sell items on your own website without needing your own e-commerce platform.

How does Drop Cart work?

Drop Cart is a remote shopping cart service that is delivered to your site via JavaScript. To use Drop Cart, first sign up, confirm and log in to your account, and then create a store and add items.

Once a store is created, you will be given the code to place on your site to deliver your Drop Cart and items. When someone purchases an item, Drop Cart is notified and updates the quantity available.

Why use Drop Cart?

Drop Cart is free, easy to use, and requires no installation on your part except for placing a few lines of code for the shopping cart and where each item is to be sold. Drop Cart can be used on any site that allows links and JavaScript.

Is there anything else?

Real-time Drop Cart analytics.
Access to the analytics is currently restricted to select users, but each store has it turned on and access will soon be available to everyone.

Drop Cart's analytics tells you in real-time who is visiting your Drop Cart enabled pages, where they came from (including search terms), what they're buying, and even enables you to remove items from their shopping cart.
